SC Waterloo Region has announced a new sponsorship agreement with JAKO AG.

The three year deal, which was announced after the meeting with representatives from Germany in February will see the German-based brand become a "partner and official sportswear of the club".

SC Waterloo Region president Tony Kocis said: "I'm especially pleased with this partnership between the global brand JAKO and Waterloo Region’s only professional soccer club. I think that we are at the beginning of an intense relationship that will bring the club closer to the thousands of fans around the region and the province."
